Collector has over 16,000 items related to shoes

After divorce, women can change the look, the house and name. But Darlene Flynn, California, United States, had a different reaction. Began collecting shoes and items in patterns and shapes of the accessory, like furniture, clothes, pots, telephones, miniatures. In 11 years, 16,400 joined pieces. Data are from the newspaper The Telegraph.

Darlene broke his own world record, which was 7765 products in 2006. Among his possessions are a replica of Cinderella's glass slipper, oven mitts shaped footwear and small gold shoes. The most expensive footwear is the Blue Promenade, which cost $ 1800 (about £ 3700).
The collection is so large, it takes two weeks to remove it from the closet. In total, spent about $ 500 thousand.
